Come and join in the fun! In “Tiny Musos” we sing known and new songs and use actions, percussion, toys, scarves, feathers, tunnels and parachutes to teach music appreciation, listening skills, taking turns and confidence building. “Tiny Musos” songs are all about the things that 2 year olds love – animals, colours, shapes and body parts! A wonderful course for parent and child, “Tiny Musos” classes are 30 minutes each week and enrollment is by the term. “Baby Musos” for one year olds is available at some locations. In “Mini Musos” there is no end to the variety of songs and activities that encourage independence and musical development. With a book and CD for use at home and in class, “Mini Musos” is all about experiencing music in as many ways as possible – we sing, dance, listen, pretend and play percussion as well as using finger play, hoops, tunnels, pipe cleaners and colouring to help learn all about music. “Mini Musos” teaches pre reading concepts of pitch and begins rhythm notation reading. Keyboard experience is a focus of term 4 in the “Mini Musos” course, which prepares for entry into the AMS Junior Course. Classes are 40 minutes and enrolment is by the term.

A fun, creative, structured course, “Junior Starter” has a book and CD for use at home and in class and teaches keyboard/piano skills, introduction to pitch notation, rhythm reading and music appreciation. We listen, sing, play, move, read, shake, strike and tap! Classes are 60 minutes each week and enrolment is by the term. “Junior Starter” leads directly into the AMS “Junior Course” where we further develop the ability to play, read and appreciate music.

The AMS Junior Course is for children in Kindergarten and Year One at school. Learning music has never been this much fun! A progressive course over 2 years, “Junior Course” books and CDs are each used for 2 terms and contain all of the keyboard pieces, notation, worksheets and songs used in class and at home. We sing, move, play, listen, read and perform – with a huge variety of games and activities ensure life long musical skills. A keyboard or piano is required for continuing development at home. Classes are 60 minutes each week and enrolment is by the term.

Groovy tracks, piano pieces, fun percussion and theory games – AMS Super Starter has it all! Super Starter is for beginners in years 2,3,4,& 5 at school. There are 2 books in this fast paced, structured course teaching reading, creativity, piano skills, theory and performance. A piano or keyboard is required at home and books and CDs contain all the pieces and worksheets for class and home. Classes are 60 minutes each week and enrolment is by the term. Super Starter is an accelerated course and leads directly into AMS Junior Plus for continuing development of all skills.
